Water Logged

I have always experienced swollen ankles at my dance competitions but never like this. I was at Women's Conference the last 3 days with my mother and sister in laws it was a blast! We walked all over BYU campus and by Friday night my ankles where completely gone and my toes where even fat! I had no idea it was possible MY TOES! are you kidding me. Mike was more surprised than I and asked his sister with much concern if they would be like that the rest of the pregnancy. I guess he is not much of a cankle guy but can you blame him! I know I should have taken a picture I will remember next time and I will get a picture up of my cute baby bump if you can even call it that in a few days I would feel a lot better if I was not swollen for you all to see!

LOL! I chuckled just reading that. Luckily my feet didn't get too swollen while I was pregnant (a little, but nothing too bad). BUT... after my c-section when I was pumped full of fluids my calves, ankles, and feet (yes, toes, too) were unrecognizable. They hardly even looked like feet. Seriously, it was SO bad. I will show you sometime, via email or something 'cause they're too bad to put on my blog. HA HA!

You look so cute, though.

I had hobbit feet!! I had "abnormal" swelling all up my legs. During the last months of my pregnancy, I could only wear flip-flops, and I could make indentations ALL the way up my legs. I called mine fankles, because my feet swelled into my ankles.

It did get me some foot massages though...YAY for fat feet. So, I say...milk it for all it's worth!!

My face swells up. My doctor tactfully explained how most people's feet and ankles swell. My swelling just happen to be in my face. AWESOME! I felt great about myself, there's no hiding your face. Pregnancy rocks! I agree with Katy, milk it! I bet you look adorable.

I wanna see a pix of your cute lil' baby bump !! :P
Make ur hubby massage them "swellerz"...cuz there's NO way he can say NO! LOL! Like they all said "milk et!"...cuz it WORKS!
I got pix of my "fat feet"...but I got short toes to begin with so when they were swollen, seemed like they disappeared! Looked freaky!

I had the same problem katy did, just the last 3 weeks of prego. I could push my finger and it would leave a huge indentation on my ankles!!! It was crazy. How far along are you again? There is an awesome homedics foot massager that my hubby got me for this reason. I will try to find a link and send it your way!

Hey Joni!
I am sorry to hear about your ankles. That part of pregnancy sucks! I am glad that it is going well though. I just started a blog myself, so you are welcome to come visit us if you want. https://jessicaandscotth.blogspot.com

joni,

it's time once again...

Hey Hana,

Sorry for the generic email. I was just going to post something on my blog, but figured people are less likely to feel "invited" so here is a personal invite...sort of.
A few of us SFHS-ians are getting together for a little high school catch up (we did this awhile ago and it was so fun!). We are going to go to dinner on Friday night(the 16th) and/or a play date on Saturday the 17th at a park. We haven't decided where everything is going to take place it will depend on how many people are interested.
K- and this should be fun, please come! Let me know which day works out best for you and of course extend the invite to your fellow spanish forkians. Hope to see you there.

Hey Joni, found you, it's Nikki (Whiteman). Congratulations on the marriage and the baby! I'm so excited for you, I have a 3 month baby girl and I love every second of it. So I hear your name from time to time from Edynn, she's in my ward, and I'm still jealous that you still get to be involved with all the drill stuff. Loved those days. Anyway, good to see pics, keep in touch!
