Ledger was a Monkey and his cousin Lia was piglet! They are so cute and everyone thinks they look so much alike!
I went to Gardner Village with my mother and sister in laws. This was my first time there and I loved it! Thanks for the fun day!
He is so dang cute!Ledger was blessed on October 18th by his daddy, and I must say Mike did an amazing job. It was a beautiful day and I thank all our family and friends for sharing this special day with us!
The two blankets in this picture I absolutely love. My mother in law made the white one for him and I was so excited for him to have that from his grandma. The blue one was given to me by Susan Peterson and her girls it has so much detail and it is beautiful. My mom also bought him this cute little flower that he wore that day and I am suppose to keep it and give it to his wife on their wedding day and she will keep it for their little boy! This was his very first bath in his Grandma Holmes kitchen sink. He loves his baths!Could someone please tell me why my one post is still in a blue color when I changed all my text color to black? Oh and why on earth it is all underlined I will never know! Help me please!
I must say being a mom is so wonderful and I love having Ledger in my life! He is doing great and is getting bigger each day. He weighed 7 lbs 4 oz when he was born and at 3 weeks he already is 9 lbs! I call him piggly wiggly because he can put down 5 oz in one feeding and he snorts! That is more than my 6 month old niece Lia! I am doing better on the milk thank you for all your advice, it has helped! I produce enough for him most of the day until about 5 p.m. and then he just wants more. I think he eats more in the evening than the rest of the day. He loves having a bath, much more than his sponge baths! He is starting to find his voice more and making noises other than crying and grunting, and he sleeps pretty dang good and night. Last night he slept from midnight until 4:30 and then again until 8:30. Lets hope that this continues only it would be great starting earlier than midnight! I must say though I have no idea how you all find so much time to blog. I got these pictures back well over a week ago and I am just now finding the time. All of my free time right now is going towards the studio and trying to keep up on laundry. I can not believe how much laundry you do with a newborn.
Ledger was so good when we took these pictures. He did not cry, poop, or pee! The pictures turned out amazing and I love them. I especially love the one with his daddy. There is nothing like seeing the man that you love holding your child!
Ledger was born on August 26th 2008 at 8:40 p.m. he weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 18.5 inches long! As you can tell he has dark eyes and lots of dark hair! This is just a picture I took of him when he was a few days old. My sister Whitney took all the pictures on her camera at the hospital so I still need to get them from her. We also took some pictures of him yesterday at Sarah Wards house so as soon as I get them I will put them on. (I know none of you believe me but I actually have something to blog about now) My labor and delivery was fabulous and I loved all of my nurses! Not only where we blessed with the most beautiful baby boy but my husband received a job the next day that we have been hoping that he would get for a while now. Blessings do come in big doses! I would like to thank all my family for all the help that they have given us and for their love and support.
Ledger is such a good baby and we are so blessed to have him in our lives! He is a pretty good sleeper other than when he needs to go to the bathroom and the formula I have to give him slows him down. I am having trouble with having enough milk so I am taking and herb called fenugreek that so far is helping but hopefully I can produce more soon! If any one has any other tricks let me know! Babies are such miracles and I can not imagine not having him around. He makes me smile even when he keeps me up for two hours in the middle of the night I love him so very much! Please keep checking my blog it will get better I mean look how cute he is why wouldn't I want to brag about him!
Our family had a BBQ up at the Davis Ranch a couple of weeks ago, and the kids had a blast! I thought I would share some pictures with you of all my nieces and nephews! They went swimming for hours and we enjoyed spending time together. I must say that being at the ranch reminded me of some great high school parites! I finally have the hang of this whole blogging thing so I will have more for you soon! I hope!

My handsome nephews Colby, Jaxon, and BrockIt is official I know I am possibly the worst blogger ever. I would not be surprised if most of you have stopped checking to see if I have actually posted anything new. As you can tell I am working on it. I got a new background and I thought it was really cute until I noticed the elk on the bottom ( no offense to those of you that love elk I am just not a elk kind of girl) and in the process I lost all my pictures! Our computer has been acting up and we still do not have it fixed and it will shut off in the middle of my project so I just get even more mad! Anyways I hopefully in the next week will have all my pictures back up including one of my cute belly only 10 weeks left by the way, a new background, and I want to add all my blogging friends to the side so please give me your email address so I can add you, I think I know how to do it. I have always experienced swollen ankles at my dance competitions but never like this. I was at Women's Conference the last 3 days with my mother and sister in laws it was a blast! We walked all over BYU campus and by Friday night my ankles where completely gone and my toes where even fat! I had no idea it was possible MY TOES! are you kidding me. Mike was more surprised than I and asked his sister with much concern if they would be like that the rest of the pregnancy. I guess he is not much of a cankle guy but can you blame him! I know I should have taken a picture I will remember next time and I will get a picture up of my cute baby bump if you can even call it that in a few days I would feel a lot better if I was not swollen for you all to see!
Okay so you all need to remember that i just barely started to blog and I can not keep up with all of you. I do have to say I love it though! I am still trying to figure out how to get your blogs on my page so I can just click on it and post on all of yours, but my life is crazy right now and as soon as March is over with I promise I will be a much better blog stocker. So please do not give up on me now. It has been great to hear from you all and you shall be hearing from me soon!
Okay so the bundle is not so little because i am huge, but we found out yesterday that we will be having a little boy! We could not be more excited! I loved the ultrasound he was so cute and could not stay still for one second just like his daddy!
Mike and I met in June of 2006 in the church parking lot of you guessed it our singles ward! I know how Utah County is that, but don't worry we where not in the same ward or engaged 3 weeks later ha ha! He asked me out on our first date in July, and I immediatly new that I was blessed with the most wonderful man to have in my life. Mike proposed to me on February 23rd 2007 at Color Me Mine in Provo Utah. I had been in Hawaii for a family vacation for a whole week. The day I got home he had planned a date for us at Color Me Mine with a few of our friends. I was so excited not because I was expecting the proposal but because I wanted to redeem myself after that last disaster I had made there. I was fully consintrated on my new masterpiece when a finished plate was brought to our table and I was told to open it. "will You" was written on the plate and I looked up and Mike was no where to be found. He then walked in the door and got down on his knee with the other plate that said "Marry Me". He had to ask me twice because I guess I did not answer him but only because I overwhelmed with happiness. We have now been married for 11 months and we are expecting our first baby on August 27th and we could not be happier. We live in Orem, Utah where Mike is a Real Estate Appraiser so he travels all over Salt Lake, Davis, and Utah County and I am teaching Dancing at mine and my moms studio Esprit De Corps in Spanish Fork.
